Instructions for cleaning the space between the teeth
The following are used to clean the space between the teeth:
1. Interdental brushes are used except for cleaning the space between the teeth and for fixed orthodontic appliances and under bridges. These brushes have a small pointed head with small bristles, which allows them to clean effectively.
How do you clean your teeth with interdental brushes?
Insert the brush into the space between the teeth or between the elements of the fixed appliance or under the bridge and gently move it. Be careful not to injure your gums.
2. Dental floss.
How to floss your teeth?
Take about 20 cm of thread and wrap the larger part around one finger. Leave about 2 cm of thread between the fingers.
Holding the floss taut with your thumb and forefinger, gently slide it between your teeth, being careful not to cut your gums.
Bend the floss between the teeth in a "C" shape and gently move it up and down along each tooth, including the space below gum level. Be careful not to injure your gums.
